Luxury without proof is just packaging. Every harvest of the Aichi Matcha Elixir is independently lab-tested for theanine and caffeine content — the two markers that separate true ceremonial grade from everything sold beside it.

A gold-tone finish built to last

Eine Gold-Optik fürs Leben

Rich, luxurious gold-tone finish, richly finished, quietly expensive — the kind of tin you keep on the shelf long after the matcha is gone.

"We did not set out to make tea cheaper, or faster, or easier. We set out to make the one tin worth keeping on the counter — long after it's empty."

Long before it reaches your table, this matcha rests in shade for weeks — grown slowly, deliberately, the way it has been for generations in the tea gardens of Aichi.

Our matcha is finely milled, creating an especially fine, velvety texture that unfolds harmoniously in water.

Häufig gestellte
Fragen

What does "A++" mean?

There is no single official grading system for matcha. A++ marks our top tier: first harvest, shade-grown, finely ground and made to be enjoyed pure with water.

How is this different from supermarket matcha?

Cheaper matcha often comes from later harvests. It tends to be yellowish, more bitter and best suited for baking. First-harvest ceremonial matcha is vivid green, mellow and tastes great on its own.

How much caffeine is in one bowl?

About 30–60 mg for 1–2 g of matcha, roughly a small cup of coffee. Based on 3.0% caffeine per lab report.

Is matcha bitter?

Good ceremonial matcha barely is. Bitterness usually comes from water that's too hot. Use 70–80 °C, never boiling.

How long does one tin last?

50 g makes about 25–50 bowls, depending on serving size. That's roughly a month at one bowl a day.

How long does it stay fresh?

Unopened, until the best-before date on the tin. Once opened, keep it sealed in the fridge and finish it within 4–6 weeks for the best flavor.

Do I need a bamboo whisk?

It gives the best foam, but it's optional. A milk frother or a sealed jar you shake also works.

How much is shipping?

Shipping within Germany with DHL: €4.49. Free shipping from €69. Orders ship within 1–2 business days.

Can I return it?

Yes, you can withdraw from your order within 14 days of receiving it, even if the tin has been opened. You cover the cost of returning it. See our withdrawal policy for details.

Is it a good gift?

Yes. The gold tin comes sealed and wrapped in cellophane, ready to give.

Was bedeutet „A++“?

Schmeckt Matcha bitter?

Guter zeremonieller Matcha kaum.

Was kostet der Versand?

Details findest du in unserer Widerrufsbelehrung.

Eignet sich die Dose als Geschenk?

Ja.
